I recommend at least a week prior to your desired date, if possible. However, the earlier, the better! Especially if you’re unsure of a location or what you would like to do for your session. This will give us time to plan and tailor your session toward you and your family.

Yes and yes! With every session, you’ll receive a Client Guide from me that will include wardrobe suggestions, tips, and inspiration for your session. I also do location scouting and can provide you with a list of locations that would be a great fit for you. If there’s a spot you haven’t been to, and that I haven’t been to, I’ll make the trip, take photos and videos, and let you know the logistics to see if it’s a good fit!

It’s important to me that your experience is smooth and as stress-free as possible even before your session, so I’ll let you know the parking situation, if there are fees/permits, or if we’ll be doing a lot of walking beforehand so you’re best prepared and there aren’t any unwanted surprises!

All my photos are delivered in a personal online gallery that hosts them online and backs them up in the cloud! From this gallery, you will be able to download both web-res (great for social media) and high-resolution (perfect for prints) versions of your photos. This gallery is delivered via email.

Professional edits include basic adjustments to light/color, minor distraction removals like flyaway hairs, and light skin retouching. I also remove background distractions when necessary, like people walking in the background, trash cans, exit signs, etc. Anything temporary, like acne, a rogue hairband, or a hair across the face that is distracting in the photo, can be adjusted so your photos remain timeless!

I do not offer body modification or morphing edits. I also do not add in things that aren’t there to begin with, like a different color tie, your Aunt Sally who couldn’t attend the session, or a new hairdo. I believe in celebrating you as you are, and if there are any insecurities I should be aware of, we can discuss that before your session so we can create the most flattering photos for you.

Yes! Absolutely. I take privacy and consent very seriously, especially in the age of AI. There is a section in my booking agreement where you can opt out of the Model Clause, and your photos will remain completely private. If needed, I can even add extra privacy settings to your online gallery!

I'm currently only booking within San Diego County. If I open up availability for other locations down the road, I'll post it on my site, so keep an eye out.

For minis, photos will be available within 1 week of your session date. For Portrait and Storytelling sessions, photos will be available within 2 weeks of your session date unless otherwise noted during busy season (October-December).

Storytelling sessions involve a bit more planning and generally revolve around an activity like going to a local ice cream shop or watering your garden in the backyard with your kiddos running around. These sessions tend to take a little more time so we can squeeze in all the details, big and small. Storytelling sessions have more of a documentary approach as well, and tend to have a little more whimsy to them from planning the activity and details beforehand. Any session type (maternity, family, couples, lifestyle newborn) can be a Storytelling Session!

Portrait sessions are more standard, and don’t require as much planning beforehand! They’re perfect for more basic photos or if you don’t necessarily want your session to revolve around an activity.

Yes! For all sessions there is a 30% deposit due at booking to secure your date.
